Scout Badge Days at Spring Lake

Get out into nature with our programs just for boy scouts and girl scouts!

Join us for exciting science and nature programs planned just for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Check-in begins at 9:30am at The Meadows Center ticket kiosk. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Tickets are $10/person; children 2 and under are free. Each scout will get a glass-bottom boat patch.

Fall 2017 Schedule - Boy Scouts:

Webelos Naturalist - January 27, 2018 & June 2, 2018

  • Time: 10am - 12pm
  • Length: 2 hours

The Boy Scout Webelos Naturalist program will help scouts understand the importance of critical habitats, with an up close look at the San Marcos Springs. This program includes a glass-bottom boat ride. All scouts will receive an exclusive glass-bottom boat patch. Check-in begins at 9:30am at The Meadows Center ticket kiosk. Registration is required.

Wonders of Water - January 27, 2018

  • Time: 10am - 12pm
  • Length: 2 hours

Discover the unique ecosystem created by the San Marcos Springs. Learn about the importance of water and how to conserve it! This program includes a glass-bottom boat ride. Exploring Endangered Species - June 2, 2018

  • Time: 10am - 12pm
  • Length: 2 hours

Join us for Girl Scout Badge Day to discover the unique endangered species that live in Spring Lake! This program includes a glass-bottom boat ride. All scouts will receive an exclusive glass-bottom boat patch. Check-in begins at 9:30am at The Meadows Center ticket kiosk. Registration is required.
